THE ONE NOT DIAGNOSED | Dr. Eric Thomas 08.22.26
THE ONE NOT DIAGNOSED | Dr. Eric Thomas Some of the most dangerous conditions are the ones we never recognize. We know when something around us is broken. We can identify problems in other people. We can point to circumstances, relationships, disappointments, and frustrations—but what happens when the real issue is somewhere we haven't looked? The heart. In “The One Not Diagnosed,” Dr. Eric Thomas continues the Know My Heart message by challenging us to stop treating the symptoms while ignoring the source. Scripture tells us: “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.” — Psalm 139:23 The Bible describes the heart as the center of our desires, motives, intentions, affections, and will. And according to Proverbs 4:23, the issues of life flow from it. That means our reactions have a source. Our attitudes have a source. Our anger has a source. Our jealousy has a source. Our bitterness has a source. Our insecurity has a source. But so do our compassion, forgiveness, obedience, and love. Behavior is the fruit. The heart is the root. Jeremiah 17 warns us that the heart can be deceptive—which means something can be operating inside of us without us fully recognizing it. We can call it personality when God calls it pride. We can call it protecting our peace when God may be confronting unforgiveness. We can blame someone for making us angry while God asks why their actions have that much control over what happens inside of us. That's why David's prayer wasn't, “God, search them.” It was: SEARCH ME. SHOW ME. CLEAN ME. God doesn't expose the heart simply to reveal what's wrong. He reveals it so He can transform it. A bitter heart eventually affects relationships. A prideful heart eventually rejects correction. An insecure heart eventually sabotages opportunities. But when God changes the root, different fruit begins to grow. This message is an invitation to stop asking God only to change our circumstances, habits, behavior, or results—and give Him permission to address the place those things are coming from. Because sometimes we're trying to fix the fruit while God is trying to heal the root. KEY SCRIPTURES Psalm 139:23–24 Jeremiah 17:9–10 1 Chronicles 28:9 Psalm 26:2 Psalm 44:21 Proverbs 21:2 Proverbs 17:3 Proverbs 4:23 1 Samuel 16:7 Psalm 51:10 Dr. Eric Thomas preaching live at A Place of Change Ministry 11615 Hartel Road Grand Ledge, Michigan 48837 If this message challenges you, don't just watch it—sit with it. God, search me. Show me what I cannot see. Reveal what I've normalized. Clean my heart. And lead me in the way everlasting. Heart before the Wall with Pastor Eric Thomas
Dr. Eric Thomas preaches “FOUR MONTHS OF NOTHING” Nehemiah 1:1–2:1 What do you do when you’ve been praying, preparing, believing, and waiting—but nothing appears to be changing? In Nehemiah 1, Nehemiah receives devastating news concerning Jerusalem. By Nehemiah 2, four months have passed. Four months between the burden and the breakthrough. Four months between what Nehemiah knew needed to happen and the moment the door finally opened. Four months of what looked like nothing. But what if nothing happening on the outside doesn’t mean nothing is happening? In this message, Dr. Eric Thomas challenges us to understand the season between the burden and the breakthrough—the period when God may be developing your discipline, strengthening your resolve, refining your strategy, and preparing you for the moment you’ve been praying for. Some seasons don't give you immediate evidence. You prayed—but nothing changed. You prepared—but the opportunity didn't come. You stayed faithful—but the door remained closed. You knew what God placed on your heart—but you couldn't move yet. Nehemiah teaches us that waiting is not the same thing as wasting time. There are moments when preparation has to happen before permission. There are seasons when your assignment is real, your burden is real, and your calling is real—but the timing has not yet arrived. And when the opportunity finally comes, you need to be ready. If you've been wondering why it's taking so long, why the door hasn't opened, or why you've been sitting in what feels like a season of nothing, this message is for you. Don't mistake the silence for the absence of God. Don't abandon the assignment because the timing hasn't changed. Don't waste the waiting season. Your four months of nothing may be preparing you for the moment when everything changes. Dr. Eric Thomas preaching live at: A Place of Change Ministry 11615 Hartel Road Grand Ledge, Michigan 48837 Come worship, grow, and experience transformation with us at A Place of Change Ministry—where change begins and lives are transformed. You'll Never Be a Proven Winner Until You Stop This
You called yourself blessed. But blessed to do what, keep it? In this message, Dr. Eric Thomas picks up where Nehemiah's story really starts: not at the wall, but at the man. Nehemiah was a cupbearer, a man so all in his job could cost him his life, and he broke down before a king over a city he didn't even live in, for people whose ruin never touched his comfort. That's the mind of a proven winner: faith over fear, preparation over excuses, perseverance over quitting, obedience over compromise. But ET goes somewhere harder. Most of us take care of "us and ours" and stop there, and then wonder why the overflow slowed down. God didn't bless you just for you. Every gift you've got, you got by grace, and the same measure you give is the measure that comes back. This message is about becoming the kind of person the blessing can keep flowing through: all in on the ONE thing God called you to, praying before you move, and refusing to make it all about you and yours. Nehemiah 1–2 Philippians 2:3 - 4 Matthew 6:33 Matthew 7:7 - 8 This is 52 Days of Rebuilding. ⏱️ Chapters and key moments in the comments. 📲 New here? YOU WERE BORN TO WIN | But Why Aren't We? | 52 Days of Rebuilding | Dr. Eric Thomas
You were born to win. But if that's true, why aren't you winning? In this powerful message from the 52 Days of Rebuilding series, Dr. Thomas delivers one of the most convicting sermons of the year using John 3:16 and 17, Isaiah 43, and the story of Nehemiah to expose the real reason you're not living the life God designed for you. It's not because you don't have what it takes. It's not because God hasn't blessed you. It's because you've been losing for so long, you've started to talk like a loser, think like a loser, and accept what God never intended for you. God didn't send Jesus to condemn you. He sent Him to rescue you. You don't rescue something that's not valuable. And the first move God made when we sinned wasn't hell. It wasn't shame. It was salvation. Jesus didn't come looking for people to write off or embarrass. He came to save, heal, restore, and transform. He came that you might have life, and have it more abundantly. The 140 year broken wall in Nehemiah wasn't supposed to happen. But when it did, God didn't leave it broken. He rebuilt it in 52 days. Not 52 months. Not 52 years. 52 days. Because God doesn't just want to bless you. He wants to do it quickly so you can get back to the abundant life He created you for. You didn't knock your own walls down. You didn't ask for the trauma. But God is asking you one question: when are you going to rebuild? In this message you'll discover: → Why you were born to win and designed to win, and how losing became your identity → The difference between John 3:16 and John 3:17, and why God's first move wasn't condemnation → How God rescues what's valuable, and why you're too precious to stay stuck → Why God can heal you quickly when you pass through deep waters and fire → What it means to be precious in God's sight, and why human validation isn't enough → How to stop comparing yourself to others and get back into the Word → Why 52 days is all it takes when you stop making excuses and start building with God → The declaration: I was born to win, I was designed to win, and God is in the process 📖 KEY SCRIPTURES: John 3:16-17 — For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son Isaiah 43:1-4 — Since you are precious in My sight, you have been honorable, and I have loved you Nehemiah 6:15 — So the wall was finished in 52 days John 10:10 — I have come that you may have life, and have it more abundantly Isaiah 43:2 — When you pass through the waters, I will be with you Jeremiah 29:11 — For I know the plans I have for you Philippians 3:13-14 — Forgetting what is behind and pressing toward the mark CHAPTERS: [FLIGHTCAST_CHAPTERS] 🔥 IF THIS HIT YOU Share it with someone who's been losing for so long they forgot they were born to win. You Don't Need Something New, You Need What You HAD | Eric Thomas
What do you do when life falls apart? When your dreams seem delayed... When your relationships are strained... When your reputation has taken a hit... When disappointment, failure, trauma, or time have left their mark... You rebuild. In this powerful message, Dr. Eric Thomas challenges us to stop making excuses and make a decision. There is no middle ground. You're either in or you're out. Every day you're either rebuilding what God has called you to restore, or you're allowing it to continue to deteriorate. Rebuilding is necessary because something valuable has been broken. We don't rebuild what has no worth—we restore what still has purpose. In this week's message, you'll discover: Why rebuilding is different from building. How damage, loss, decay, and neglect silently steal what God intended for your life. Why some things don't fall apart because of an attack—but because they weren't maintained. How to reappear, regain, restore, and rebuild what still has Kingdom value. Why God is calling you back to what He's not finished with. We'll also explore the powerful lesson from Joshua 7, where Israel suffered a defeat that wasn't caused by the enemy's strength, but by compromise within their own camp. Sometimes the greatest obstacle to rebuilding isn't what's happening around us—it's what we're allowing to remain within us. Before God can restore what's outside, He often deals with what's inside. This message is an invitation to examine your life and ask: What has been neglected? What has been damaged? What is still worth restoring? What decision do I need to make today? 🔥 IF THIS HIT YOU Share it with someone who's been trying to fix it in their own strength for too long. Can You See? | Pastor TJ Tyus
Can you see? You've been hearing the Word. You've been receiving the information. You've even believed it. But nothing's changed. And the question God is asking you today isn't whether you heard it. It's whether you can see it. Because meaning determines seeing. Change the meaning, you change what you see. Change what you see, you change what you do. Pastor TJ Tyus delivers one of the most transparent, convicting sermons of the year using the story of Nehemiah and the 52 day rebuild. With raw personal testimony about kidney disease, losing his daughter Aries, and the moment his neighbor's grass became better than his, Pastor TJ breaks down the real reason you're still stuck. It's not because you don't have the information. It's because you don't have emotional leverage. Nehemiah wasn't the only person who knew the wall was broken for 140 years. But he was the only one with an emotional burden strong enough to rebuild it in 52 days. The difference between those who start and those who finish isn't discipline. It's meaning. The five elements of faith are hear, receive, believe, speak, and do. When you do those five, you get two: transformation and testimony. But most people stop at hearing. Some receive. Few believe. Very few speak. And almost nobody does. Because they haven't guarded their lev, their control center, their heart. And everything you do flows from it. In this message you'll discover: → Why meaning determines seeing, and how changing the meaning changes your entire life → The five elements of faith: hear, receive, believe, speak, do, and why most people never get past three → The 5+2 formula: how transformation and testimony come after you complete the five → Why you keep starting and stopping your 52, and what emotional leverage really means → How to guard your lev (control center): your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, desires, choices, identity, faith, and words → The African wild dog revelation: why exhausting predation is the secret to finishing what you start → Pastor TJ's testimony of losing his daughter Aries and how changing the meaning brought him back to the stage 📖 KEY SCRIPTURES: Jeremiah 29:11 — For I know the plans I have for you Nehemiah 6:15 — So the wall was finished in 52 days Proverbs 4:23 — Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it Romans 10:17 — Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God Revelation 12:11 — They overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony James 2:17 — Faith without works is dead CHAPTERS: [FLIGHTCAST_CHAPTERS] 🔥 IF THIS HIT YOU Share it with someone who's been hearing the Word but not seeing the change. When You're Stuck and God Says "Be Still" - Exodus 14 Explained | Eric Thomas -
You're stuck. And you've been praying for God to move. But what if the reason nothing's changed isn't because God hasn't shown up? What if it's because you won't stop moving? In this message, Pastor Eric Thomas delivers one of the most convicting sermons of the year using Exodus 14 and the story of the Israelites trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh's army. The moment they stopped crying, stopped strategizing, stopped trying to figure it out in their own strength, God said: Be still. And the angels moved. This isn't about working harder. It's not about doing more. It's about surrendering control. God told Moses, "I will fight for you. You only need to be still." Not by your might. Not by your power. But by the Spirit of the Lord. The resistance band around ET's neck isn't just a fitness tool, it's a picture of how God works. You don't have to pull yourself up alone. God is your assistance. And when you finally let Him be your band, the yoke becomes easy and the burden becomes light. These 52 days aren't about God needing time to rebuild your life. It's about you needing time to surrender. To stop comparing seasons. To stop trying to do it the way you used to. To stop moving in the flesh so the Spirit can finally move. The moment Israel stood still, the pillar of cloud moved between them and their enemies. And the night passed without one coming near the other. *In this message you'll discover:* → Why God can't move when you're moving, and what happens the moment you stand still → The resistance band revelation: how God becomes your assistance when you stop trying to do it alone → Why comparing yourself to old seasons is killing your next level → The difference between crying to God and asking God to take care of it → How ET's son's credit was destroyed right when he needed it most, and what happened when he stood still → Why 52 days is not about God needing time, it's about you needing to surrender → The real reason your prayers aren't being answered: you still have ego in them → What it means when God says "go forward" while you're surrounded by enemies *📖 KEY SCRIPTURES:* Exodus 14:13-14 — The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still Zechariah 4:6 — Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Matthew 11:28-30 — My yoke is easy and my burden is light Exodus 14:19-20 — The angel of God moved and stood behind them Isaiah 40:31 — Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength Psalm 46:10 — Be still and know that I am God CHAPTERS: 00:00:00 Welcome: The Gift of Standing Still 00:01:07 52 Days: God Can Rebuild What's Been in Ruin for 140 Years 00:02:18 The Snotty Prayer: When You're Desperate Enough for God to Move 00:06:09 Not By Might, Not By Power, But By My Spirit 00:07:39 The Resistance Band: Let God Be Your Assistance 00:16:06 Stop Comparing Seasons: God's Moving You Forward 00:20:07 Take It Easy: God Says Relax and Let Him Work 00:22:03 Exodus 14: The Lord Will Fight For You, You Only Need to Be Still 00:28:27 Why Are You Crying to Me? Eric Thomas: Stop Talking Yourself Out of Your Own Life | What God Removes Before He Rebuilds
You keep praying for change. But the thing standing between you and the life God promised you isn't your past, your enemies, or your circumstances. It's the words coming out of your own mouth. In this message from the 52 Day Challenge, Eric Thomas breaks down what God removes before He rebuilds your life — and why the demolition has to come before the construction. You can't build a new life on yesterday's foundation. Before God adds, He subtracts. Before He builds, He demolishes. This is Week 1: DEMO. The deliberate removal of everything that's been tearing you down — starting with how you talk about yourself. You Don't Have to Be Whole to Be Healed | Eric Thomas
You don't have to be whole to be healed. You've been waiting. Waiting to get your life together before you come to God. Waiting to fix yourself before you ask for help. Waiting to be perfect before you step into the pool. But God doesn't require wholeness to heal you. He requires honesty. In this message, Pastor Eric Thomas delivers one of the most transparent, grace-filled sermons of the year, using the story of the man at the pool of Bethesda to expose the real reason you're still stuck. It's not because God hasn't shown up. It's not because you're too broken. It's because you won't admit you're impotent. The pool was filled with impotent folk. Blind folk. Lame folk. Withered folk. Nobody at the pool was whole. And the angel didn't come for the whole. He came for the broken. The ones who were willing to say, I can't do this on my own. I need help. I'm ready to be made whole. Sabbath Service with Pastor Eric Thomas 06.13.26
What if the thing you gave up on is only 52 days from fixed. Not 52 months. Not 52 years. 52 days. That's how long it took Nehemiah to rebuild walls that sat in ruin for 140 years. And God is saying the same thing is possible for you. In this message, Eric delivers one of the most direct, faith-filled sermons of the year, about the gift of 52 days. Using the story of Nehemiah, raw personal testimony about fitness, family, and faith, and a declaration that will shake you out of survival mode, ET breaks down what it really takes to rebuild what's been broken in your life. Not more motivation. Not more programs. Commitment. Consistency. And a willingness to show up for 52 days with God. You didn't knock your own walls down. You didn't ask for the trauma. You didn't choose the betrayal. But 140 years later, you're still standing in the rubble. And God is asking you one question: when are you going to rebuild? This isn't about what you destroyed. It's about what God can do. It's about closing the gap between where you are and where God called you to be. Pick one wall. Name it. Pray over it. Take one rep. Tell somebody. The wall won't build itself — and God isn't asking you to build alone. He's asking you to build with Him. In this message you'll discover: → Why 52 days is all it takes when you stop making excuses and start building with God → The four steps to closing the gap: Name it, pray over it, take one rep, tell somebody → Why you must change your language from victim talk to rebuild talk → How God can restore the years the locust has eaten in less than two months → The 52 Day Declaration: a commitment between you and God → The testimony of what God's already doing in 14 days → How to surrender the one area you can't seem to fix 📖 KEY SCRIPTURES •Jeremiah 29:11 • Nehemiah 6:15 • Joel 2:25 • Isaiah 40:31 • Philippians 3:13-14 • Romans 12:2 CHAPTERS: [FLIGHTCAST_CHAPTERS] 🔥 IF THIS HIT YOU Share it with someone who's been standing in the rubble too long.
